I used to find wearing denim with denim pretty boring and would not wear anything in denim from head to toe. A denim dress or jumpsuit is different though. What I mean is wearing a denim top with a denim pants or skirt or shorts. I think pairing a lighter denim top with a darker denim pants is not too bad. Denim on denim trend is back this season. Recently the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to India with the Duke of Cambridge Prince William. The fashion world went into a frenzy after photos of the duchess emerged. I must say that she has such a great fashion style. Besides clothes by Anna Sui, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, the Duchess wore clothes by famous Indian designer as well. I love her effortlessly chic style. I was so impressed with her when she demonstrated her ukulele skill during a hospice visit last year that I went to check out the guitar center ukelele tuner. She is inspirational.

H&M just launched their first range of bridal designs in its 2016 Conscious Exclusive Collection. This favourite high-street brand’s bridal designs are very affordable as the gowns are priced from £149.99 to £399. These pretty gowns will be available from April 7. The bridal gowns are made with over 50% sustainable materials and were modelled by Julia Restoin Roitfeld, the daughter of ex-French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld. I bet the gowns will be sold out before you can finish saying Hennes & Mauritz.
This boy is Kreaw, a 14 year old Thai Karen student who lives in Sangkhlaburi which borders Myanmar. He is now pretty famous as he modelled in a Louis Vuitton spread after being discovered by GQ Germanay during its shoot in his hometown. He was chosen because of his authentic Thai look. It was rumoured that he was only paid THB1,000 for the photoshoot. We will probably be seeing more of Kreaw now as an international modeling agency has since approached him for another modeling job.
Clothes with ruffles are in trend at the moment. They have been spotted on a number of runways. Ruffles are feminine, subtle and offer a touch of romance. The cascading layers and delicate details are very playful and flattering. Designers everywhere have fully embraced this trend, whether on or off runways. I love ruffles on the neck or shoulder. Keep a lookout for this trend.
Here is a trend that is taking the fashion world by storm. This new neckline trend is going to be hot hot hot this Spring and Summer (pun intended). What’s not to love about shrugging off your sleeves eh? They are perfect for the beach, coffee dates and when paired with a high-waisted pants or skirts, you all covered for the night.
So recently I got myself a button front denim skirt from H&M. It has an A line shape. Do you know that the denim skirt is back in fashion. It used to be the staple of 70’s fashion.
