Ok, so my kid wants to be Harley Quinn this Halloween. She is so into it and has watched Suicide Squad a few times. She can’t wait to dress up. It is only a few days away and I still have not gotten the necessary makeup stuff ready.
I think this is how Harley Quinn looks like in the movie. Kinda grungy and messy.

Zara has the most stylish clothes for kids, in my opinion. I love buying them for my daughter. I would get all excited when I see their latest collection every season. So did you watch the Emmy Awards that took place in LA last night? As always, fans and style-watchers were busy checking out their favourite stars. Some of the dresses made my jaw dropped. They are so gorgeous. Here are some of my favourite that night.
I love Kirsten Dunst’s simple black gown that shows some cleavage.
Sarah Hyland looked amazing in a strapless, floral top and cropped trousers. Pants on the red carpet are chic.

Gingham is major fashion trend this year. Are you a fan? How do you wear it without looking like a tablecloth or Bo Peep? Some good tips I found is to pair a gingham top with plain bottom and vice-versa. A gingham dress is fine but keep everything else plain. Below are some of my favourite styles. Once I have done checking out herco at wwbw.com, I hopped over to my favourite store for some retail therapy. I am so in love with the current pinstripe shirt trend. Can you believe it that I have not bought anything in that design at all? So after seeing all these gorgeous tops from Zara, I cannot wait to check them out at their store. Here are what I want :-

Denim is a versatile material that does not go out of fashion and is something you can wear throughout the year. Who doesn’t like Denim eh? The apparel can be casual and also transformed into statement pieces with just some added accessories. Dark denim jeans is a wardrobe staple. Style it with a white button-on shirt for office and add on a statement necklace and you are good to go for dinner. Just spotted some lovely denim pieces at Madewell.

There are certain fashions that many, including me, would avoid as they are not very flattering to the body. The latest trend seems to be the baggy tunics or oversize blouses. They are so popular right now that I want to get one for myself.
However, there are ways that these pieces can work for practically everyone. The baggy tunics should be paired with slim trousers or leggings. Wearing a skirt with the tunic is a big no-no because that would add volume to the body. If you feel that the baggy top is making you feel shapeless, you can throw on a belt or a big statement necklace. The belt can define a waist and the necklace will affect the way the top falls over the bust. So how do you like to wear your baggy tunics?
I just love the off-shoulder trend that has taken the fashion world by storm. It is the favorite trend this summer. Do you know that this style has been around since the 50’s? Just google it and you will find images of women wearing off-shoulder tops and dresses (see Brigitte Bardot or Grace Kelly).
