There are certain fashions that many, including me, would avoid as they are not very flattering to the body.  The latest trend seems to be the baggy tunics or oversize blouses.  They are so popular right now that I want to get one for myself.

However, there are ways that these pieces can work for practically everyone.  The baggy tunics should be paired with slim trousers or leggings.  Wearing a skirt with the tunic is a big no-no because that would add volume to the body. If you feel that the baggy top is making you feel shapeless, you can throw on a belt or a big statement necklace.  The belt can define a waist and the necklace will affect the way the top falls over the bust.   So how do you like to wear your baggy tunics?

Stirrup Pants Are Back In Fashion

Yes, you read correctly. The Stirrups Legging is back in trend and thanks to Marni for giving it a reappearance.   Soon you will be seeing stirrups everywhere.  I have a feeling that the trend is going to be massive this Fall.  Stirrup Legging was very popular back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, during the fitness era.  Remember Jane Fonda workout?  Have you worn a pair before?

Off-Shoulder Trend 2016

I just love the off-shoulder trend that has taken the fashion world by storm.  It is the favorite trend this summer.  Do you know that this style has been around since the 50’s?  Just google it and you will find images of women wearing off-shoulder tops and dresses (see Brigitte Bardot or Grace Kelly).  There are so many different styles on how to wear off-shoulders this season.  Here are some of my favorites :-

Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Dark Armpits

There are many good resources on how to lightened the dark patch in the underarms. Many articles claimed that by rubbing lemon juice will help but according to dermatologists, this may do more harm.

There is an option of using coconut oil to get rid of dark underarms. Coconut oil contains vitamin E that can help lighten the underarms. Just massage the area with coconut oil and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with mild soap and lukewarm water. Repeat these steps 2 or 3 times daily until result is achieved.

A good way is to use baking soda mix with water to make a thick paste. Then scrub the underarm with the paste and wash it off. Pat dry thoroughly. Repeat this method a few times a week.

Try these simple home remedies to whiten the underams.

Yes, you have read correctly.  MNG is saying goodbye to Spring with a special promotion.  I have been invited to the local bar to listen to a friend’s band next weekend.  My friend has just bought a new wolfgang electric guitar and will be playing on that day.  So, I was on the lookout for a new outfit and came across the MNG sale.  Made my heart skipped a few beats.  Am thinking of getting these few pieces below.

How To Wear A Statement Necklace With Collared Shirt

As a statement necklace lover, I like to wear my necklaces whenever I get the chance.  I have no problems with round neck tops but when it comes to collar tops, I am at a loss.  Should I wear the necklace over the collar or inside the collar?  I usually do not button up my collar so that explains why I cannot decide which way is better.  What do you think?

Prom Dresses London

I was reading this article from Who What Wear about how soon would you dress your child in designer clothes.  I have been seeing photos online of children dressing up like the adults and with coiffed hair.  There are also a number of instagram stars with thousands of followers. Unless you are born with a silver spoon, I don’t think one can afford designer clothing all the time especially children who grow out of their clothes very quickly.  As for me, I like to buy brands like Zara, H&M and Mango for my kid.  I love their style and they are easy on the pockets too. What about you? Do you dress your kids in designer clothes?

Denim on Denim Trend

I used to find wearing denim with denim pretty boring and would not wear anything in denim from head to toe.  A denim dress or jumpsuit is different though.  What I mean is wearing a denim top with a denim pants or skirt or shorts.  I think pairing a lighter denim top with a darker denim pants is not too bad.  Denim on denim trend is back this season.  What do you think of the double denim trend?  Can you pull it off?
